WHO WE ARE.
Launched in March 2021, MIFA's mission is to provide children in remote parts of Armenia and Artsakh with equal opportunities to receive musical education. Many of the children have the wish to learn, but do not have the means.

WHAT WE DO.
We recognize the importance of musical education for Armenia's cultural preservation; as such, our goal is to ensure that future generations are equipped with the skills that will matter in a new world.

Create conditions for self-empowerment by providing children with quality musical instruments in remote regions of Armenia and Artsakh.

Contribute to the growth of local businesses and support the traditional musical instrument makers, whose talent and craftmanship is passed on to the next generations of musicians.

Promote and preserve cultural heritage and love toward classical and traditional music among children, who have the passion but not the means .
HOW WE
DO IT.
We accomplish our mission by researching and contacting music and art schools, conducting needs assessment to establish which schools need our help most, and providing them with the instruments and tools that children need to define their own futures.

Reach out to Local Stores and Instrument Makers to Procure Musical Instruments

Seek in-kind instrument donations, which are meticulously tested by our volunteer musicians

Deliver the Musical Instruments to Remote Regions of Armenia and Artsakh

Work with drivers to ensure safe transportation of the instruments

Sign contracts with the schools to ensure accountability
